Dóra Piroska is Associate Professor at the Economic Policy Department of Corvinus University of Budapest. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the Central European University. She was a Lecturer at the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin and worked for International Business School, Budapest. Her research and teaching interests are in the fields of International Political Economy, Comparative Politics and European Integration. Her research centers on the politics of financial market developments in Central and Eastern Europe, including the macroprudential regulatory turn, banking nationalism and non-Eurozone member states’ take on the BU.
